After attending the Art Center College of Design, I worked as a freelance assistant for a wide range of photographers, shooting a wide range of subjects and products in studio settings as well as on locations. Eventually most of my mentors and work came from the automotive industry for advertising, brochure, and web/video applications.
The years of assisting others provided a wealth of photographic knowledge about lighting, composition, the hard work that goes into large productions and working on a team. Once on my own, working as a freelance photographer, I learned the practical side of what it takes to run my own business: leading a team, client relations, communication, and maintaining a payroll.
Additionally, my experience working as a self-employed photographer and business owner demonstrates my ability to multi-task as well as my drive, which will allow me to succeed.
I love helping clients tell their story and get their message out there.
